That's Christmas All Wrapped Up!

Carolyn & Hollie from All Wrapped Up & All Dressed Up in Lutterworth recently joined us at the Showroom to stock up on fabulous Christmas stock.

HOW WAS YOUR VISIT?
“We have been buying from Heaven Sends for over 15 years, visiting twice a year to choose our seasonal ranges and to be the first to order new lines. We enjoy visiting the showroom as we find it so much more relaxing than trying to choose products at busy trade shows. As usual, the Showroom was beautifully decorated with a fabulous choice of gifts and homewares.”.

DID YOU FEEL SAFE DURING YOUR VISIT?
“We visited the showroom on Monday 14th September and we were very impressed with the measures put in place, due to Covid-19. Jeff went through the safety procedures with us upon arrival. Our temperatures were taken at reception, and we hand sanitised before entering. We loved the new layout, there was a lot more space having the products across 2 floors."

Dandelion Gifts prep for Xmas at the Showroom

It’s this time of year that the Showroom really comes to life, because as you may have heard… there’s less than 100 days until Christmas!

Dandelion Gifts from Frodsham, Cheshire, recently visited the Showroom to get inspired and secure their Christmas stock for the coming retail season. What better place to get excited for the most wonderful time of the year?

How was your visist?

“We had a fantastic visit to see the Christmas collections. Louise was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the Showroom which was very spacious and set up with displays of all the different themes. Everything was set out and prices displayed. Louise left us to browse and get inspired. She then rejoined us to scan our selection as well as recommending items and bestsellers”.

Did you feel safe during your visit?

“Louise went through the safety procedures with us upon arrival. We felt very safe and relaxed during our time at the Showroom. Definitely worth a visit!”

Kaboodle get inspired at the Showroom

We were recently joined in the Showroom by Hazel and Shayne from Kaboodle, Shropshire. They were on the lookout for some Christmas stock and came to the Showroom to see the ENTIRE collection under one roof.

How did you find your visit?

We received a lovely, friendly welcome to your well-lit, spacious Showroom. Help was always on hand from Helen as we browsed the ranges.

We felt safe during our visit with all the Covid precautions- it was great to see the fantastic varied collections ‘in the flesh’. It was great to be able to see all Christmas and Everyday ranges and get inspired by the displays. We’d thoroughly recommend a visit!

Samsara Crafts visit the Showroom

We welcomed Denise and Eve from Samsara Craft to the Showroom for the first time on Thursday 27th August. They travelled all the way from Hull to be inspired by our Christmas displays and order their stock for the coming festive season.

Tell us about your visit

“With Christmas fast approaching, we decided to visit the fab Showroom. Our dedicated “Angel of the North”, Andrew, showed us around the spacious showroom- we could've gone Christmas crazy!

We were very impressed with the vast selection to choose from and were provided with a well needed lunchbreak which was a great opportunity to think about our purchases. We are so excited to see all our new Heaven Sends stock on Samsara’s shelves!” - Denise

Christmas Buying at the Showroom

We welcomed Annette Berry and Rose Broadhead from Eyebury Nurseries, Cambridgeshire to the Showroom for the first-time on Monday 17th August.

Tell us about your visit

“We visited the Heaven Sends showroom for the very first time, as new customers, having first visited their stand at Spring Fair, NEC; back in February. Our dedicated “Angel”, Jeff, showed us around the spacious air-conditioned showroom. We were very impressed with the vast selection to choose from, and Jeff shared with us some great retail tips, which we will be putting into practice this year! Ordering was an easy and enjoyable experience for us. Heaven Sends is definitely worth a visit.” - Rose

Stagg & Sharpe's first visit to Showroom

Maria & Natalie from Stagg & Sharpe Interiors, an up-and-coming online home décor company based in Leicestershire, recently paid a visit to our Showroom. They tell us about their visit…

When did you visit the Showroom?

“We visited the Heaven Sends for the first time on the 13th August and we were really impressed by the Showroom and the overall standards of our visit. The air-conditioning was an added bonus as it was 33 degrees outside!

The lunch provided was a great touch and we can honestly say we are looking forward to a return visit.”

How did you find the safety & social distancing measures?

“We met our Rep Jeff for the first time and he did an amazing job making us feel relaxed and welcome while maintaining social distancing measures. Many thanks for Jeff for going above and beyond making us feel welcomed and at ease”

Gracie Jaynes visit revamped Showroom

Gracie and Georgie from Gracie Jaynes, a fantastic home & gift boutique based in Leicestershire recently paid a visit to our Showroom. They tell us about their visit, how they found our COVID safety measures and what they thought of the recent revamp.

When did you visit the Showroom?

“We visited the Heaven Sends showroom on Sunday 2nd August. Jeff our Rep went out of his way to accommodate our showroom visit on a Sunday, which was brilliant. As a small independent retailer, I wonder how many other suppliers are prepared to operate on a Sunday?”

How did you find the safety and social distancing measures?

“There was an excellent pre-entry procedure whereby our temperatures were taken in reception before entering the showroom, and also plenty of hand-sanitiser to use.

The new showroom layout is brilliant, easy to social distance, and we didn’t feel rushed at any time.

We can see that Heaven Sends have really made an effort to accommodate customers whilst being Covid-19 secure.

It was a very relaxed atmosphere throughout our visit.”

What are your thoughts on the Showroom revamp?

“As always, there was a great selection of products, and the ranges look bigger and better than ever, with the showroom now on two floors!

Having spent 3 hours browsing the stock and placing our order, we can’t wait to receive our stock.

We have been buying from Heaven Sends for a few years now, but we really think they have taken things to a new level, despite the challenges everyone is facing in 2020”

Bringing the Beach to Brum for our NEW SHOWROOM LAUNCH!

Here at Heaven Sends we’re known for a lot of things… quirky giftware, great customer service, value for money - but we’re also known for our madcap ideas as well. So when it came to choosing how to launch the NEW showroom, we had no choice but to “bring the beach to Brum” - quite literally!

As we don’t do things by halves, the car park was filled with sand, seagulls were imported, ice cream was served, a pier was constructed and even a coconut shy was built. Unfortunately the tide was out so the only thing missing was the sea!

Everyone loves a good British seaside resort, and it was great to see so many happy customers enjoying the beach, taking photos of themselves at the peep-through and of course basking in the sunshine sitting in the giant deckchair!

Guests were the first to see just how amazing the NEW showroom is and were able to view the entire collection (Christmas, Home, Gift & Halloween) – over 6000 products in one place. Customers are now able visit the new showroom space at any time to browse or buy.

Industry speakers were also invited to the event, sharing their knowledge with guests in information-packed seminars. Jan Billings from Show Off demonstrated how to create beautiful visual retail displays and Sam Bailey from Silver Compass Digital explained the best way to use social media and email marketing, focusing on small businesses.

After spending the day having fun, being inspired by the seminars and browsing the NEW Showroom, guests went home with a bucket full of new ideas and a few souvenir goodies & photos…

“Just to thank you for such a wonderful 'trade' day yesterday. Dee and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Not only was it lovely to browse the stock to order, but the staff were so friendly and helpful - true 'angels' in every way. The day was well planned and today we are already making changes to the shop's display to reflect the advice at yesterday's workshops. Thank you again”- Liz and Dee from Finishing Touches.
